Best SEO Option - URL Aggregation

Guys

One of my client is having different URLS for different countries like For US (XYZ.COM) for France (abc.fr) and many more for other countries.

Now the client wants to aggregate all URLS in One domain with Drop down Menu. So if any one choose any country that URL will be Opened.

Can You guys suggest me is it good practice ?

Please suggest me the best Option.

No problem. Search Engines takes it as the backlinks, For example your main site is ABC.com and the other sites are xyx.fr, klm.me, hyj.eu . . . .

You keep the other site links in your main site i.e., ABC.com which means your main site ABC.com is giving backlinks to other sites of yours.

I like to know what the client needs to aggregate his different domains under single domain? So the Link Popularity and weight age remain same

Once you aggregate the other domains into a single domain name then the others no longer exist. At least they shouldn't or else you will have duplicate content issues.

However, you can limit the negative affect of this by building out the content on subdomains of the main one he wishes to have. After this I would suggest you set up 301 redirects on each of the old pages to the respective new ones. Also, dig into Google webmaster tools and change the subdomain geographical targeting options if this applicable too.
