Do You Block Certain Adsense Categories?

I have been using the adsense function under "allow & block ads" to block the following ad categories:

Dating
Get Rich Quick
Ringtones & Downloadables
Video Games

The reason being my major adsense earnings come from a health related website and I thought people are less likely to click one of the above category ads than something more related to health. However I see a good percentage of my monthly earnings come from "Politics" ads.

Do you block adsense ad categories or allow all and let Google determine what's best for your site?

No but I block certain URLs such as Google and other low paying advertisers.
Does categories block affect your whole account as the URL's block do?

The category does block those ads on the entire account so that adsense code on any website blocks those categories from what I understand.
