I am trying to create my own high PR network (number of high PR blogs in general) to link to my money site(S). I figured this might be a good approach for long run (since I plan on building a lot of micro money sites). I am wondering how long does it usually take to get a blog/site to PR3+ etc. Please advise. Is it possible to jump from PR0 -> PR3 from 1 update etc.? |

Its absolutely possible, I had one website jump to a PR5 from a PR0 on its first PR update. Although it was a website that received natural links from .edu's, and many news agency sites. The key is building SOLID quality link to your networks and sculpting the PageRank properly. Don't leave an easy to see footprint though! I've seen networks lose PR/value as a result of poorly designed link networks. |

It's very possible. Just add good content, drive CTR up in the SERPs, and add high quality contextual backlinks.

What you guys think of making my own high PR network? Is it an ideal approach or am i just wasting my time here? (instead of buying high PR links off others, and doing link exchanges etc.) |

| I think it's a really good approach, actually. Don't forget that you can also monetize the sites in your network. It'll be a lot of work though, so you might need to outsource it. Once you establish them though, you can charge people to post on your network for links BMR style.

Yeah, thats what I am thinking as well, tho as you mentioned, this will be a very time-consuming project as it involves a lot of sites linked together. Anything i should keep in mind when building it, such as hosting them in different hosting etc.? (so i dont get flagged all at once if anything happens?) Also, as my true intention is to get high PR, i assume I dont have to worry much about getting high in rankings etc.? Is there any tips / tricks in getting high PR faster (beside contents etc.) Thanks in advance

You could just look at purchasing domains that already have a high PR, but that will take some cash. Also, if you are using these sites to build links off of to your own sites, I would recommend hosting each site with a different host or looking into some kind of SEO hosting package.

Also, I assume since its all about PR here, any domain extension is going to work as long as its high PR? .me or .org etc. doesnt really matter?

Buy PR'd websites or buy expired websites and recreate the content or else it'll take approx 1,395,432,931,326 seconds to get to PR3.

Depends on your methods. If you get quality backlinks from high PR sites, then your site's PR can improve.

Here's exactly what I did to get a site from PR0 to Pr3 in the june update: -100 Profile Links (1000 profiles to those 100, then 5000 to those 1000) -6 Web2.0 Properties (5,000 profiles+2500 blogcomments) -1 press release -about 300 social bookmarks -10 submissions to EZA, Articesbase, Goarticles -3 .edu blog posts (100 profiles each to them) -1 .gov page (100 profiles) -120 BMR blog posts (8,000 profiles to these) I did that over a 6 month period with varied anchor text starting in january. it cost alot, but i already made it back 6 times with Adsense. The site has #1 rankings for several keywords. |

I registered my domain in February and added 6 pages (500 words minimum) and in each of those pages I have about 10 or more blog posts that are also 500 words minimum that connect to their supporting category. Did some very light on and off SEO (SeNukeX) then joined a Homepage Backlink Service (30 High PR pages) from May to June ironically lol the day I cancel (thinking it was worthless because it didnt improve my ranking like I thought) was the day I come in the Warrior Forum to read about the PR update. I check my domain and its a PR3, Five of my Pages are Pr3's with 1 being a PR1. I was bouncing off the walls! I immediately joined another High PR Network with more sites (this one has 120) to keep from loosing any PR I earned from the last Network. |

It took me two years to get to PR4. I think backlinks played a HUGE role in it. I hear getting edu. or .gov backlinks will boost you up quicker.
