Hi guys, Been into SEO for the past year or so and often keep hearing about article writing as a major component of link building. I know some people don't do it, but I know some people who definitely do. I'm still very much in discovery mode so I am experimenting with what I'm doing. I bought a WSO late 2010 which I've been trying to follow step by step to see how it goes, even though there are somethings I've read in it which I don't necessarily agree with - but I'm waiting to see the results of the advice that has been suggested to me. I am slowly chipping away, after doing some keyword research I sit down and write what I believe to be a decent quality article about the keyword. I then spin it using The Best Spinner and then submit it to Unique Article Wizard (UAW). I will say that just by doing this UAW business with a fairly key word targeted website with some more original content has got me on to the first page on a number of my keywords. But it doesn't work for everything, thats for sure. Also don't know how long the good times will last either! And right now, that is IT. I don't do anything else with it whatsoever. To be honest I'm kind of overwhelmed with the choice out there of what to do, so I thought I'd put it to you guys as to how you think I should make the most of the articles I've written myself. |

Hi, Article marketing is an important part of link building and you are using it in a right way. Another thing you can do is guest blogging. Guest blogging is seen as an ethical and valid method for getting quality backlinks. You just need to contact a blog owner and offer them to write a post for them. You write a good quality post and get a backlink, audience and relevant traffic. One more thing you can do is to have a blog on your own website. This way you won't have to write articles and then submit to article directories etc for links. A blog is an extremely important marketing tool, especially if you offer some value in your blog. You can offer engaging, useful information or freebies in your blog. Hope this will work for you. |

Hey! Thanks for the feedback. However, I was looking for what article directories I can post to (i.e. anything else apart from ezinearticles). Are there other creative things I can do with my articles? Submit them as guest posts on other blogs, etc? I don't know. I'm just writing an article and want to make the most use out of it. Any more ideas out there? |

- Turn your articles into PDF documents and submit them to doc sharing sites - Turn them into videos and distribute to video sharing sites - Turn them into audio files and submit to podcast directories - Distribute to other high level article directories - Compile several articles into one PDF and submit to eBook directories Hope that helps | |

My articles get posted on my blog, and sometimes a couple of related forums - and that is it. At no time do I submit my articles to article sites. Converting your articles to PDF files can be very powerful tools. From time to time I see PDFs that were created years ago. So what you do today, can continue to spread the word of your site for years to come. |
