I see you are from germany so press release = Pressemitteilung (in german) An article submitted to news publishers for anouncement of a new site or event to get people attention. Backlinks (mostly nofollow) will gives you traffic. |

One thing to remember is that a press release cannot be written in the first person (I find that etc etc), but needs to be written in the third person (objectively). Contact information such as name, address, phone and fax number needs to be included for press releases. They should also be tied in with a news event, product announcement, holiday or something newsworthy. Debbie |
