Thinking about buying a micro-niche web sites

Almost anywhere I look there are people that selling packages with micro-niche adsense web sites. Is it worth to purchase them, or should I just go ahead and create my own?

I have been selling quite a few, but if you can build your own you should. If you know what you are doing you should build your own unless you are busy with other stuff and just want to outsource them.

I believe it's better to build big informative portals around your topic rather than building several small adsense sites. Google’s recent comments re. content farms does strike a blow to mini-sites, so large sites are the way to go…

It really depends on what you're trying to do/ what your business model is.

I like the idea of an authority website. Something that caters to a more broad niche, and in turn has the potential to get HUGE.

However, many people have made FORTUNES off those small 1000 exact search blogs. In my personal opinion, i would buy 5-10, spend the money to get them ranked high. Collect the income for 6 months to pay off the seo, and then sell them.

Even though most of these sites are at their max potential at around just 10 pages. People will pay a TON of money because they are hands off and passive. And if you've had consistent income people will pay as much as 10-15x the amount made per month.
