Anyone Having Problems with Rank Checker?

SEObooks firefox add-on "Rank Checker" has been getting hung up after the first Google keyword, and can't get past yahoo. Any suggestions?

just install the google toolbar it ll show you all the pages raking from domain and deep sites

I ran it yesterday and it worked fine on Google and Bing, but it was hanging on Yahoo.

I am having the same issue with Rank Checker. I think Google is blocking Rank Checker for pulling in too many queries in a short amount of time. I keep having to enter a Captcha code and then RC resumes again. I didn't have this problem yesterday.

Had the same problem but here's a fix:

Click on Tools in your Firefox browser
Click on Add Ons
Highlight Rank Checker so you see the Options button and click on it
Uncheck the box for Yahoo

Rank Checker will run just fine. Only Yahoo is hanging it up.

Just forget the thing about ranking checking as it was only you who see exactly the same search result. Focus on things that really matters such as conversion. Ranking is not something that you can really rely on.

Ahhhh, I was having the same problem with Yahoo hanging. ScrapeBox isn't scraping results from Yahoo either, so it must be something with Yahoo's API or something. But thanks Sojourn for the quick fix. Before that it just stalls when it gets to Yahoo, but not anymore!

An alternative to this tool is mike's rank checker tool. Just google "mikes rank checker tool" and the very first link is of the tool.

Set the delay longer. I have mine set to 20 seconds. Takes a while longer to run, but your IP won't get flagged for back-to-back, un-human-like searches...

Had the same issues, but simply disabled Yahoo from the options and it works fine.

Not sure what the problem is with Yahoo, but they've obviously made some changes that the SEO tools team have yet to catch up with.

You can try another rank checker..Webrank toolbar can be the best addon..

Anybody is running Rank Checker in FF 5.0?
My problem is that I don't see the app in Tools menu anymore, so I can't access it. But it is there - I can set options in Add on.
