Everytime I read about links somebody says: it's so important to get quality links. Thank you - I clearly understand this part very very well!!

The true question is: How do we get quality links?

Google "your niche" + links & submit your site to those pages.
Use socialmonkee.com
Find blogs in your niche and write useful comments on the post.
Write guest posts for blogs.
Start your own blog. Post these articles in directories or create fresh ones for article marketing.
Turn your content into videos & podcasts. Submit them various places to get links.

Answer relevant questions on Yahoo answers.
Try to sneak a link in on various relevant Wikipedia pages.

Type in the keywords "Travel Forums" in to Google and check out the relevant forums that allow signature links in your profile. Another important part is in making sure that, the forum gets crawled and you get the credit for your link. If you press the right hand click your mouse and view page source this will enable you to look at the website coding and see whether it is followed by Google and the other main search engines.
