Hello,

I wanted to ask everyone what they thought about using back links to push other back links...Do you think they have any effect on your rankings ?..I would love to hear from someone who has had great success using this process...I also wonder if its as effective as when building a link straight to your site. ??

I think back links to certain types of back links surely can help...especially with indexing the first layer of links.

Yeah, they'll help. There are several different ways to do this, either via link wheel or pyramid. You need to be careful though, as Google can catch onto these schemes.

Absolutely they can. Backlinking your backlinks will help push additional "link juice" through and assure that the get indexed (which means the search engines can see the links)

The key though is to automate your tier 2/3/4 backlinking solution. Focus your time and energy on getting your tier 2 links, but use solutions like backlink energizer or others to get those links indexed.

You can even backlink your backlink's backlinks.

It all works. The trick is to even it out and not build all your tiers at once. And try to mix the types of backlinks that exist in the lower layers.

Pyramid linking doesn't directly affect your rankings, per se, but it definitely boosts the juice and indexation rate of the other links, so in that sense it does help.

So far it sounds like this method is only good for Indexing links...some say they have seen an Increase In rankings...but who really knows huh ?

Do you really need to ask? Use your head.

Of course this method will increase rankings.
Ask yourself this what makes a PR3 or PR4 on page backlink good to get? Do these pages get PR out of thin air? No. They have backlinks of their own.

So it is only logical to conclude that backlinking your backlinks will increase your rankings by making the top layers of your backlinks stronger over time.

I know it will over time..I'm talking about fast results..not a year or two from now..but yes you are correct that over long period time it will.

SEO and Fast results don't mix. At least for results that last.

I've seen results in 3 months by building links to already established backlinks.

I am also in favor of creating backlinks to backlinks.

I use article prism to give baclink strength to my approved articles and to index them by doing bookmarking.
