I just want to learn some tricks from expert traffic builders. Now I am getting 6000 visitors per month to my site San Angelo LIVE! Covers Events and News in San Angelo, Texas

But I want to increase the rate to 15000 visitors within next 30 days. What should I do? Any Idea??

And another question is my site's bounce rate is 60%. So just want to keep it low. What can I do?

If you using google analytics, you can try the Website Optimizer: Experiment. Basically you test different content, headlines and see which works best.

I would start tagging your site using programs like del.icio.us or clipmarks. These types of social bookmarking sites really help increase traffic.

I mean all the tips mentioned are great and can help you get better but as you said you are looking to be at 15000 from 6000 in 30 days, it's almost 3 times your current traffic.

What I would suggest is create a nice report on your niche's problem that can really help people in your niche. As soon as they close the browser, use a pop up to offer that bribe when they share your site on facebook, twitter and GOOGLE+.

By doing this you ill get massive traffic from social media, it will improve rankings in serps because one of the factor google considers during rankings is how many people are sharing your content with their social networks.

And guess what your problem of high bounce rate is also solved because now your visitors now visit at least two pages on your site.

And THE BIGGET advantage of this would be you will start generating list of your target audience. I mean ask them to email you once they share your link on facebook, twitter and google + for free bribe so now you also got their email address...

Caution: Your bribe (report) needs to be of real value, you can't fake it. It should be something that you can sell for $47 or $97.

There are some scripts that you can download that set up a request to Tweet your link and you can then get to download your report, or what ever you want to give them. The scripts are available for free download. I don't have links handy, so you will need to Google them. But these have worked very well to get massive amounts of traffic and get your links all over Twitter.

I agree with the others saying social promotion is the best way to get quick traffic growth (other than paid traffic) but it is usually not very targeted traffic.

I am discussing with my partner (its a joint venture website) for hiring an expert. But my partner wants to give some more time to the current SEO. In fact the contractor is not doing bad. You have 6000 visitors and want 15000. But the question is that how many of these visitors convert sales or don't you expect any...? . I would say atleast half of your visitors must be beneficial for you, otherwise why do you have visitors ?

i get 10000 visitors daily and maximum of these are from social networking sites and mostly from facebook , just crete a page asap and run a page for your sites if you get fans on your page thn post your link on wall , and its spider process so friend of your friends sometimes also click on your site URL , and u will get visitors

I'd recommend taking a gamble on reddit.com. I've tried to use the service before to get more traffic to my site with mixed results. My most busy traffic day is due to them, but that was three days before I was banned from the site. Give it a try, but the redditing monster is angry, and tolerates little doody.

Another idea is to have some on site advertising. you have a very location specific niche. If you have about 70 bucks extra, you should publish some paper ads for your site.

Since you've got 6,000 visitors per day, you must know those traffic generation tricks, what you need to do is do much more work! It's all about the numbers. As to the bounce rate, well, add more quality contents and make your website more visitor-friendly might help. sorry to be the one to say this but you can't be getting 6000 visitors a day to your website. What stats is that on? One of my sites gets around 10,000 visitors a month and it is about 35,000 on the alexa ranking, your site is 170,000 on the US alexa ranking.

If you were getting 6000 a day you would probably be a lot higher on the alexa ranking, certainly a lot higher than my site which is 35,000.

If you are looking at stats I suggest you use google analytics and not the stats you see inside your hosting account, they won't be accurate and will show things like bots, crawls etc and not actual human traffic.

Your appealing to the San Angelo TX market, I assume.

Did you know that that area is 48% spanish speaking?

I would add spanish translations for the site and bring attention to it.

Also, like most other places, that area is infested with cell phone useage. I would also concider added mobile capabilities to the site and register the site with the proper mobile directories.

I would recommend MySpace and Twitter.
