Is forum signature image links give a +rep for seo?

Hi my english is weak sorry for the misunderstanding.

My question is:
Is forum signatures (about related websites links) image links (from my site) give me a backling or +rep for pagerank?

For example:
My website image link is : mywebsite.com/wp-content/image1.jpg
I put this image link to the my site related forums signatures.Is this tactic give me a backlink or increase my pagerank?

Yes they do, every link counts but it will not have much SEO value.

If you are talking forum profiles, you will need thousands of those images with links to actually get a small PR boost.

There is no special benefit for image , link is only counted ..

Image link will not so useful than text link. Put main keyword as anchor text and give hyperlink to that keyword.

but most of the web forums can't accept text link..

I don't want to start a new topic on this since its signature related; but i don't know why my signature was removed. They are both hyper links to my own websites. Can any one please let me know if I'm violating any forum rules.

Now its showing but some times it doesn't show, is there a reason why.

It depends on the forum, there are many forum where signatures are nofollow. In such cases you won't get any backlink but in rest, you will get a backlink.
