Hi All ,What are the tools that you use to check backlinks ? I tried all the below, the most reliable has been Yahoo site explorer If you have any advice on anything more reliable I will be very grateful ![]() YahooSite Explorer - Yahoo! Site Explorer Link Diagnosis - examine your link competition --> not what it used to be Market Samurai --> same yahoo data (says majestic seo data) SEMRush - service for competitors research, shows Google organic and AdWords keywords for any site or domain --> can't find backlinks w/ this Open Site Explorer: Link Popularity & Backlink Analysis Tool --> rubbish ! Btw this is not a criticism of any tool, just looking for somehting better than YSE, for bls ! |

SeoSpyGlass is the best tool to check your backlinks. Also it comes with a free version and can easily best fit with your needs.

I use SEO Spyglass too - it can check from multiple and also local search engines. FYI, I read somewhere that Yahoo's Site Explorer will be discontinued at the end of the year.

I tend to stick to the one in MS. Not a whole lot of data coming from any of them but I was interested in checking out the majesticSEO checker. Since I'm not building mini sniper sites and outsourcing backlinks I don't have the need to pay for a backlink checker. MS does just fine. backlinkwatch.com. That's ok but I find it doesn't pull up nearly as close the links the sites have. Interesting to see some of the other services mentioned in this thread. Thanks for asking Robbie |

i partially agree with you there are some drawbacks in all of them but their significance can't be ignored if you think that a tool should show all the backlinks or more than 1000 links of site don't forget it could be a violation of search engines algorithm |

| SEO Spyglass is the best you can use the FREE version but it has limitations where you can not save or export your project to excel I used the free versions till my PC crashed like 2-3 times and I had to restart it, I lost everything so I decided to buy it actually I bought the 4 applications under one package called SEO Power Suite |

Online utility backlink checker works best for me. It shows every backlink according to the domain extension and number of links coming from a domain. |
