From my experience there isn't one set layout that works best. The adsense themes that are available allow for one to use various different layouts (I think, don't use one myself). Maybe you can check out some of the current themes on the market like "CTR Theme" and "Clickbump Engine" to get an idea of what seems to work. But, one large Ad Block at the top of a post seems to always be the best performer (for me). If you going to create your own theme and compete with the others on the market, you going to need a proven layout(s) that is highly customizable. |

Your picture is almost the exact layout I use to my ads. I will say too though if you have articles or text that takes the page below the fold that a lower right sidebar or even a ad at the bottom of the article would help with ad exposure. I will also say though that what your content/site is about will be the deciding factor for your ctr. You can have the exact same ad layout on all your sites and they will all vary. I found this the other day but haven't bought yet. Suppose to record vid of your user activity on your site and mouse moving heatmaps. I agree with Eleva! Not sure if you have heard or tested Adsense pro ultimate or magum CTR theme. I would recommend you becuz I had some good success with these two themes and have installed it on some of my top sites...Perfect Earner for me |

| I too bought adsense pro ultimate dev license for one of my clients - and the result I am getting is awesome! Seriously, I was surprised to see CTR raised to 5%...none of the theme had given me so far...
