Im using a WordPress theme which makes the H2 tag the page title. If I have the same keyword in the page title and in H2 tags on the page, will Google count this as duplicate tags and have any negative effects or will the H2 tag in the title just override the H2 which is on page? The reason I ask is because when I added H2 tags onto my pages, I wasn't aware that the page title was in H2 tags, so id need to edit quite a lot of pages to remove the H2 tags from the pages now. |

You can use as many H2 headings as you like. They aren't going to be see as duplicates unless the text of each heading is the same. Have a look at Matt Cutts answer on header tags: |
