I'm sure this is one of those questions that has been asked before, but I'm a new member here and need some help. Would you guys recommend that I submit the articles on my site to Ezine Articles (after my site's pages are indexed)? ![]() I'm specifically concerned with building a huge authority site in a niche I enjoy (hundreds and maybe thousands of pages one day). Should I submit these same pages to Ezine Articles (and maybe a few other places) for the link benefit plus additional direct traffic? My main concern is that my site's ranking power does not suffer. I've heard some people say that you don't have to rewrite articles for syndication. |

Some will say yes go ahead. Some will say no. Personally, I'd write new articles for EZA and other directories and use only the primo stuff for my website. |

I wouldn't recommend it.. Raises Red Flags to Google.. Unless your spin with the "The Best Spinner" to about 70% unique and post...

If you want or have to submit an article, I would suggest you to use a totally different article for that purpose. Please keep the best content for your own website |

Yes.. its better to submit article to ezine, with backlink to your site.. I have done some trial, targeting a keyword as a title, i posted in my blog and in ezine.. untill now the article in ezine stays in front page of search result, and my blog post left far behind.. |

If you combine your submission with the choice of low competition targeted keywords into the titles of the articles - then ezinearticles.com is a great tool

Ezine is pretty strict about duplicate content, so your articles may not even be accepted if they find them published elsewhere. Going with fresh content is your best bet.

Newbie here with a question about ezine. I have submitted 11 articles to them and have a diamond status now (Not kidding. Just lucky I guess). So I can say on my website that I have diamond status. What is the benefit of submitting more articles to ezine now that I have this status? |

Copied content certainly does not help you. It actually hurts you. So, if you are going to use PLR content or something that has already been cached in Google, you might as well make it unreadable and unique with some spinner. |

@Jake Gray - Not sure what you mean. I'm not using PLR or "copied content." @adaptise - Ezine articles will accept your "duplicate content" if you demonstrate that it is yours (e.g., putting your author name on your website). I even asked the support staff about this. I'm just not sure whether it hurts your website in Google. @doingwrite - I believe the main benefit is that it speeds up their review time and gives you priority (supposedly) when emailing the support staff. One of the main requirements is that you fill out a profile and picture - most authors don't do that. That alone separates you from a lot of authors. They only require 10 articles or so to apply. If you are trying to be a real long-term authority in one niche, then I think it adds credibility. Otherwise, it probably won't help. |

You should submit original content to the top article directories, and then spin that same content and submit to other article directories.

With the advent of Google Panda algorithm you have to make sure that the articles you post in Ezine should be of high quality - that is good grammar- and it should be unique and not a copy from any website, otherwise this would really raise a red flag to Google.

Ever since the Google Panda update alot of the main article directories that people used to spam with spun content have been cracking down. Sites like Ezine only accept 400 word articles now and so instead of spending time creating a 400 word spun article and submitting it to a few dozen directories, you might as well spend the same amount of time quickly writing a few good articles and submitting them to the top five directories. I find that my SERPS are only really impacted by the top few directories anyway.

Article spinners make your content look clunky and awkward. I'd suggest building links through blog commenting and blow up your site with a lot of content. As or Ezine articles, the traffic from there isn't as good as it used to be and you're better off building up your own rankings rather than theirs. The duplication won't really hurt your rankings, but it won't help. I have sites which are "mirrored" on Ezine and I'm having more trouble getting them ranked...meanwhile those with 100% unique content are easy to rank...some of them are on page one for keywords with millions of competing sites. |

I see my ezine links showing up in my backlink reports and it does send traffic so I continue to use it. Guest blogging is much more effective though, especially when you get on topically relevant high PR blogs. Several of them with only a few posts send more traffic than ezine with 90 articles there. |

I suggest you post only the best and most relevant articles to your site then spin those articles and submit them to Ezine. Make sure that when you spin them, you get at least 85% uniqueness.

Post the article on your site. Once it is indexed by google post on top few article directories. It's not duplicate content. It's syndicated. |

I see no reason why your site's ranking power would suffer, so long as you wait enough time to ensure its been indexed on your site first. That avoids any duplicate content penalty. Meantime you get a back link to your site that is worth more than a comment on a random blog, for no more effort. Plus the back-link is Do Follow and permanent, and from an authoritative site where you've posted it in the relevant category. You also get additional exposure and potential traffic. Plus you're further establishing yourself as an authority on the subject. About the only other thing I could think of that would be cool to have tossed in would be a 6-pack and a pizza, but I'm willing to settle. ![]() -Spyder | |
