Just wondering, what should be the optimum no. of keyword phrases one should opt for while creating an affiliate website and targetting one product based niche - not too less so that website doesn't get good ranking and authority in Google SERPs ; not too many so that it becomes difficult to handle the optimization manually![]() I'm planning to go with min 3 and max 5. 1 will be the main keyword phrase (also the domain name with/without hyphen) and other 2-4 will be supporting keyword phrases that are thematically related to the website & it's content and can bring long tail traffic as well ![]() Is it necessary to have 15-20 or even more keyword phrases to target to make an affiliate website successful. Any warrior with personal experience can enlighten better. Further, what should be the best social promotion/article promotion way for such website. I was thinking to create static 3-5 pages targetting each of the keyword phrase and then publish the content on various social platforms. On searching net, I found out that for such an approach, on-going blog kinda website is better where you keep on updating the content of the website and keep on publishing the content on various social platforms. Is it a good idea to create an affiliate website with blog look and feel or static website is the best option? If blog, how should I promote the website - the way as I've elaborated above or is there any better way to do it? What should be the promotion approach for micro mini niche websites? ![]() Thanks in advace warriors.. |

I always go for the maximum number of keywords I can. One main keyword, then a ton underneath. I have some websites that are ranking for hundreds of terms. When you get to the lower competition ones there's no optimizing necessary, the links to your front page are generally enough to get you to the top.

I'd suggest a sniper site and target 1-3 keyword phrases, provided they're very closely related. Do a review blog/site.

But will having only 4-5 pages and relative less content be acceptable by google as a quality site? Will this process can lead to the rejection of the site among the top 10 contenders? What should be the ideal content creation strategy for a sniper website? | |
