Hey guys, Quick question! I have a little problem. My incoming links to my site don't show up on the yahoo link search. I've created web 2.0 article links, 1waylinks, scraper, etc to my site but my articles and my home page don't update showing incoming links! Is there something i need to do or something that could be wrong? My articles all show up on google so does my site but for some reason my links aren't getting indexed or showing up in SEO quake or the yahoo link search. Is there anything i can/should do? Thanks for your help |

I haven't had particular success with Yahoo - they index stuff that shouldn't be indexed and never index the things you want it to index. Since Yahoo is only 15% of the market - I think you should put more efforts on Google.

sometimes it takes time to show up in different sarch engines. You should try waiting for a week and then checking if your links show in yahoo.

The actual posts, and the actual links show up in google. But when I search if there is backlinks coming into my site it doesn't show! Does this mean I'm not getting any backlink credit from google? |

i think yahoo will shutdown the site explorer service in september 2011 so you should not be concern about that, try to find it in google and bing webmaster tool, thats 2 search engine you should focus right now..

The most back links typically start to show up at about 2 weeks - some a few months.

I wouldn't worry too much about what Yahoo is showing, though it is important to ensure Google has recognized and indexed the pages where your links are placed. Try typing the pages URL (the exact URL for the page on which your back link is placed) in Google Search, if this URL is not recognized (ie. no results for that page) this means that Google probably is not counting your link (as the page has not been indexed). If this is the case, try Pinging the URL (where your back link is placed) using a service such as pingler.com. This should ensure that the search engines pick up and index your article / back link. If it has been indexed just relax (no need to ping) Of course this method only works if you know the URL's where your back links are. Hope this helps! |

This is completely normal......... This has been asked and answered 1000 times before. No backlink checker will tell you accurately what links you have - don't sweat it. p.s this should be in the SEO section so don't be surprised if it gets deleted. |

It takes awhile for links to show up. Could be weeks, months, or sometimes not at all. Another thing to note is tools such as yse do not show the complete picture of all your backlinks. Just an fyi, these types of questions belong in the seo section of the forum. |

IMPORTANT = catchy in the eyes of the warriors @alpha: in your signature try to place your keyword and point it to your site and yahoo will surely show it as your site's inlinks ;] (maybe after 3 days) |

| And...It isn't limited to just YOU. They aren't showing all of your competition's links either.

You don't have to really worry about Yahoo Exploer ![]() Just make sure that your links are indexed/cached by Google, That will lead to get more link juice and more improvements on your SERP in Google which is the best FREE traffic generator so far |
