Default Getting PR Domains

Hello,

I'm searching for high PR domains, and I'm using Register Compass.

Is it safe to get domains that are expired, that have PR? Or do they need
to be in auction, or what? Thanks.

Be Well,
Timothy

Hi Timothy,

What is important is whether they currently have a diverse group of backlinks that are likely to stay in place after you purchase the domain. Real PR is updated in real-time so it doesn't much matter what the toolbar data reports as the PR, it is what backlinks are still in place that determine real PR.

Make sure to check history and that they were not blacklisted on Google. Archive.org or WHOIS data is a good option.

And make sure you are not buying FAKE PR domains... that hurts and is the biggest waste of money you can think of...

Try buying from Godaddy auctions or Sedo.

the competition on expired domains with high PR is very big.

If you dont want to spend much money in auctions then just wait on the next PR update.

A domain usually loose PR when the Google update comes in the pending delete cycle.

You can filter in Registercompass for a lot of other SEO values so you dont need to focus on PR alone which anyone does

I have bought some PR domains and a few were blacklisted.
Checked them with a free tool but I guess it was not correct.
What would you guys suggest would be the best tool to use for this.
Thanks

I believe that blacklisted would be a domain that was de-indexed by Google for say AdSense violations or something like that and will not index the domain again.
Thanks

oh yes this might happen. I usually have this issue once of 30-40 domains.

I usually check wayback machine and screenhots to see what the sites was about ... helps a lot and reduce the risk of buying a crap and dead domain.

If somebody know such a tool which works accurate we would be more than happy to add it to registercompass.com
