Getting Discouraged and Quitting

There exists soooo many blueprints out there to make money -- Affiliate, CPA, Product Creation, Domain Name Flipping, Adsense, Offline SEO, etc.

The crazy thing is that each of these niche have sub-niches. It's normal for some of us to get confused because there are numerous paths for us to take. Straight, right or left?

We get thrown at our faces everyday these internet marketing ads. We are always looking for the answer for how to make money, and people exploit this fact.

WSOs get published every day, and what's surprising is that they're all different (or maybe not?) So what should we do?

We try one method, it doesn't work. We try another, it still doesn't work. By now we've wasted a lot of our investments -- time and money.

Myself, I started two years ago in the affiliate marketing scheme. What can I say, it didn't work out and I quickly changed my business plan to adsense. It still didn't work out. So I changed again to flipping domains. Nothing. Discouraged, I left the internet marketing scene in shame.

A few months ago, I came back into action, and decided to only focus on affiliate marketing -- what irony. I quickly picked up the pace from my past experiences.

Here I am now, still fighting for success. Should I quit? I don't think so.

The funny thing about mistakes is that they're actually beneficial, but only when you realize it's a mistake, or it wouldn't be a mistake in the first place because you wouldn't know about it.

Imagine you're in a desert, extremely dehydrated and thirsty for water. At this instant, you have to make a critical decision. Where do you walk?

Choose one path, and stick to it and never look back. Looking back will only make you want to go back, and going back will only make you lose all the efforts you already put in, which in turn will waste your energy and you will die of fatigue. So keep walking till you find your oasis, no matter your obstacles.

So what's my point?

Even though you get discouraged, don't let it control you. Keep your head straight, and do what you have to do.

If you are in affiliate marketing, continue affiliate marketing.
If you are managing adsense websites, continue managing adsense websites. If you are creating products, continue creating products.

Never switch your path, because any path will eventually lead to an oasis.

I really have to agree here!

Many IM fail because they jump Idea to idea and WSO to WSO.

Just stick with one thing for a few months. Put your whole effort into it and try to do the very best you can. YOu will make it like many here have.

I have personally found all of the methods to work just fine if you learn how to do one thing from the beginning...DRIVE TARGETED TRAFFIC.

Then, everything else falls right into place.
