Post xml site map

If I install a XML sitemap will that allow the SE to crawl and index pages that are not visible normally on the site? I would like to target differenent geo locations by optimizing different pages targeted those locations but I do not want to look so repetitive. What is the best way to approach this?

You could create a single page for each state that would include links to your individual geo mini blogs set up for each city. Over time you would be able to monetize those mini blogs with advertising from local business's in those respective cities.

What do you think?

If you are going to be creating pages targeted towards specific cities, states, countries, etc make sure that you have a lot of unique content for each of those pages or have proper canonicalization set up.

Ideally, the SE bots should crawl all the unique URLs listed in the Sitemap. But you can control the bots a bit by using robots.txt files.

But if you place robots.txt file, the content would neither get crawled not indexed.

If the pages are on different directory then create each sitemap differently and submit. So that you can target many geo locations.

I quite agree.

If you want to make sure not to be look so repetitive.

It must clearly show that it is unique.
