public or private proxies for scraping?

hello everyone,

i have read quite a bit that it is best to you public proxies for scraping and harvesting and private for posting?

why is this?

i dont know why but it takes me forever to harvest proxies using the SB harvesting. like 30 min to check 1k proxies! im way to impatient to wait for that so i want to use my private proxies from your private proxy instead.

why should or shouldn't i do this?

You could try making your maximum number of connections higher if you have the connection for it. My internet connection isn't that great but I can do 500 connections at a time.
