Start with Google keyword tool. Who else can give you the best data about what people are searching on Google? These tool use an api from Google Adwords so why not to use Google's tool directly? I would recommend to read this article from SEOMoz.org, that describes Keyword research. Not just this article they have bunch of different lessons for newbies and you will find links to those as well.. Hope this helps |

Try semrush for researching tons of different keywords, it especially good for finding long-tail keywords, and I love export to excel! |
