Hi warriours, I would like to know what I would be charged for 500 targeted back links each month or 1000 targeted backlinks per month

It really depends on the types of links you are looking to get. Do you want blogrolls? Do you want forum profiles? Do you want guest blog post in content type links?

Not all links hold the same value, and therefore the cost is going to vary.

Why do you want to pay for backlinks, it is far better to build your own that way you have full control over the keyword content of the link. Place free classified ads linking to your site and build free 1 page websites.

You need to aim to submit about 1000, classified ads and build 500 pages and you will start seeing results.

I notice you are using Blogspot and strongly suggest that you spend your money on purchasing a domain and hosting and then installing a wordpress blog of your own. Blogger has a habit of shutting down blogs for no apparent reason and the same goes for Wordpress.com.

I would hate to see your hard work wasted

Yes, like David said, first of all get your own domain name. That way you own all the content and all the incoming links.

David, do you use Craigslist or some other classified sites?

There are many services that will make you 500 links for anywhere between $100 and $300 per month.

It depends on the service and type of link you want, if it's forum profile links then I highly recommend using Drip Feed Blasts - Automated Link Building - Monthly SEO Service, they are the cheapest that I've seen so far and if it's blog comments then I recommend using One Hour Backlinks - Buy indexed and high PR links with our link building service, their service is cheap and has a very high quality, I specially like them cos they don't spam blogs.

It depends on your budget and specifications. You can even get 1000 backlinks for 50$ or you can get them at 500$. If I would be you, I wont be running after number game.

You can get a good Article Marketing Robot 1200-article blast with at least a few hundred articles approved for $5 over on Fiverr. Again, though, you have to question the value - it's really not about quantity. Find a manual blog commenting service that will get you a few dozens high-PR blog comments every week - that will get you good results too, for not that much money (not sure how much exactly, but there are cheap services around - I prefer to do that stuff myself).

Just curious...I occasionally use classified ads as well. Usually just a paragraph or two with a link to my websites.

Does Google frown upon these types of websites (classified)? And other than an occasional visitor, is there any SEO benefit?

As others have said, prices will vary wildly based on the quality of the backlinks. I'd personally look for the higher quality services, even if the # of backlinks is low. You'll see better results from this than you would with thousands of low quality backlinks.

If you're willing to do some manual legwork why not see if you can reverse engineer your competitions backlinks? Take a look at the top 10 results for the keywords you're targeting. Chances are you'll find plenty of places to drop your own links. If they're helping others rank, they'll help you too.

I believe my service is cheaper than both, and even more so with the current discount.
But I agree, it depends more on what type and quality of links you want. You need to be more specific.

The cost will depend on the method and quality.
- You can join private blog networks, which work good, but come with a monthly fee.
- You can buy xrumer/senuke blasts. These work well too, but the quality is not always up to par. If you buy the software, you can build great linkwheels or pyramids, but these softwares aren't cheap
- You can check out the WSO section where many warriors offer all kinds of backlink packages. There should definitely be some within your budget!
