Hi, A client I have started working with has a well established website, even though homepage is not index.html or similar, but a welcome.html page created by iWeb. And there is no niche specific keyword page titles, no META descriptions. The niche is very specific and very local, so ok there is no competition. We are looking at improving the sites ranking for other towns close to where they operate. So if I add in a footer menu with GEO/Town Specific keyword (contextual links) plus town specific pages. There is no footer menu at the moment Will I have more chance of improving ranking for those town specific niche keywords, without upsetting the websites high ranking for the actual town the business is in? And is it advisable to change the homepage to index.html or similar, add in page titles on the homepage along with META description? Without it effecting the current high ranking? As not having the right or any page titles, and META is completely against what I thought would be an absolute minimum in terms of onsite SEO? |

What sort of answer is that!!! When I am on a internet marketing website it is fairly obvious that SEO might be a part of the answer!!!
