hey everyone! Ok so right now on my site i have a theme that allows me to have different tabs based on the categories i have made. I then decide which categories i want my post to be a part of and then it shows up under those different tabs/categories. My most recent show up on the home page and then i have about 4 of these other category/tabs, that when you click on them appear to be a separate page, but really are just posts. I was wondering whether that hurts my SEO for my keywords or helps it, or if i should just make a separate page for each article i create, but then that would make for a massive header full of tabs. I like the organization of it right now but if it hurts my keyword SEO then i need to change that. Thank you all in advance. |

hi JDAX23 I think it is normal that you have posts under relevant category. As far as the keywords are concerned, your posts will rank for your content. There is no need to create extra pages to list posts because when you click a category it will list all your posts. |

Search engines can't tell whether you are using pages or posts. They see each page/post as a separate page whether it is designated in Wordpress as a page or a post.

Be sure to use tags as well as categories. Gives you twice as much chance to get found.
