So I was through a rough patch the last couple months because of an accident that had me in the hospital for a little bit and then a close family member was deathly ill. During that time period, my hosting went up and I forgot to renew it. I had some sites that were in the top 5 on their target search hits and due to obvious reasons they are nowhere to be found. What do I do to get them back up to the levels they were? Normal backlinking/SEO methods I did before or just sit back and wait on those established sites? Thanks! |

What I would do is do a social bookmarking run on all those sites and build a few links to each, then wait...

| So doing those social bookmarks will get them back up to previous rankings? Or is it just so google knows my sites are back up and then ranks them as normal?

I've never encounter such things like that. But I think proper link building and some Social Networking will help you gain your popularity... Coz' I think you've lost lots of that.

Any other ideas or tips? Has this happened to anyone before?
