So I was wondering, is it worth buying backlinks, such as 22 contextual homepage backlinks for $35/month? 4 - PR5 10 - PR4 8 - PR3 Is it worth spending $35 each month for these backlinks? Or should I just stick with BMR for 59$/month? However, BMR's links drop off from homepage. |

It really depends on the potential return. If this will push you to a top ranking for a highly searched term with a product that has a high commission, absolutely worth it. If it is for a lowly searched term and all you have is a MFA site with a low CPC, waste of time. |

I've got to say that I'm a big fan of BMR. I think it's worth the money if you have the time to write the posts AND utilize it to it's fullest potential. Do that, and that $59 will go a long way each month. I'm also looking into some other similar blog networks to beef things up. The only thing holding me back is the idea of writing even more posts, but you can pretty much hammer out those small posts quickly without thinking much, as they don't need to be award winning. All in all, I'd say start with the BMR. Then, when you have a site that's actually earning some good money, go ahead and pick up some of those high PR links to add some power to your rankings + increase your earnings |

If you are running on adsense, it is worth buying, but if on clickbank, we do count on sales, BUT however more bank links increase your site PR and that is more clicks, conversion and sales.

I am not in huge favor of link buying, because, 1. Its is not an organic way of linking web page (Google will consider it ethical if purchased links are not passing any PR) 2. Once you run out the money you will lose the backlinks 3. There is no assurance of quality in backlink packages |

Spend your money on permenant links at first, and then as uniches said, when you're having trouble getting those last few spots at #1 then invest in monthly links that like so you can get the big boost in traffic from having the top spot

Buying backlinks is definitely worth it. I don't care what anyone says.

The problem with paying a monthly fee to "rent" backlinks is that once you stop paying, you lose them, and it's going to hurt your site. It can be good if you need a short term boost to make some fast cash, but I prefer to spend the money on links that are going to last.

I agree with JamesGw. I mean if you can buy backlinks that are from High PR pages or EDu and Gov sites. That will definitely help you boost your rankings.

Go as far as you can in the SERPs without paying for premium links; then, when you feel like you've hit a ceiling, take advantage of the PR Homepage links. That is my advice.

If the paid backllinks make you more money (are profitable) then they are a good idea. If they cost more money than they make, bad idea. All of you that keep saying "don't do it because you have to keep paying", would you really mind paying for something if it made you more money than it cost? I'd do it all day long. | |

Sure - as long as they are effective links and haven't got a crappy footprint. Most of these type of networks are run by individuals that don't really know how to setup a proper network Leaving a wide open footprint to find the whole network and discredit/devalue it from a PageRank standpoint. If the guy thats running the network "gets it", then by all means go for it! These are the cream of the crop links. |

Be careful. You can get penalized because google knows about most of those link selling services and have banned many of them. But you can pay $5 for more links with higer PR on fiverr if you know what you're doing.
