Default Site wasn't indexed during 3 weeks, what to do?

Hello,
I'm newbie in SEO, 3 weeks ago I started my first niche website. right now I have 12 unique post and 28 backlinks. i've pinged website on pingomatic and other websites, added sitemap to google but still it's not indexed in Google,Yahoo or Bing.

Domain was in use during 2009-10 years.

website is for French people so content is French

I don't know that's the problem, maybe I'm doing something wrong because of being newbie? or maybe I choose bad domain (because it was in use)?

here is details of main keyword:
It's about insurance (Assurance on french)
Global monthly searches - 5,400 (exact)
Local Monthly Searches - 5,400 (exact)
CPC - 4,27$
63,300 exact ("") competitor.

I have .net exact domain but .org domain is still available. so it could be sold as keyword.

what do you think about selling website? for what price should I sell it? I'm thinking about 35$-40$ what do you think about this?

any help, answer or advice would be great.

Try making a squidoo lens and market it there.

Google's panda ate my first born.

A previously used domain could be banned or have a 'shady' rep with G. Here is a link to try and check Google Banned Checker Tool

That's not a foolproof way to find out but might help. Another thing which may be obvious to you but I have done this myself: If you are using Wordpress for your site make sure you have your privacy settings correct and are not unintentionally rejecting spiders from your site.

Hope that helps!

Could be a number of things. I rank in 2-3 hours these days with first page in a few weeks. You need to either give more details or get a private opinion from someone. Go to the SEO section and ask in there.

Its not indexed or ranking well? I find it odd that a site would not be indexed for that long. Even sites with zero content usually gets indexed within 2-3 days at most. Are you using wordpress for your site or are you building it from scratch using html?

Thanks for helping me

@inhwanie
website is not indexed

I'm using wordpress, privacy settings are set correctly.

results of Google Banned Checker Tool:
No results found, attempting a different look-up...

The domain name has no PageRank value, it is LIKELY to be banned.

The domain name has no records with Google. It is either new or MAY BE banned.

I will try to receive private opinion from someone

From what you have said, it seems that you purchased an aged domain (about 3 years old?).

If a few days after adding some content and building a few backlinks Google has not indexed it, I would say that the domain had been banned by Google.

This is the danger of buying aged domains... You don't really know what you are buying.

However, if you think it is a good domain name and you would like to keep it, just keep on adding good content and building backlinks and Google will eventually re-index it.

You can speed things up by submitting a "Reconsideration Request" to Google explaining that you just purchased the domain.

I hope that this helps.
