I went through a mini rough patch in my life and I inadvertently let my hosting expire which apparently deindexed my sites and I lost my page 1/2 rankings! Has this happened to anyone before and what did you do to get it back? |

When i switched my hosting over, it wasn't a smooth switch and my sites went down for a short period of time (about a week). Google deindexed my sites just like yours did. But, once i got my new hosting account back, it returned the next week in the same exact spot it was with the old hosting account. Just give it some time -Matt |

This happened to me once when I was changing hosting... the hosting didn't expire but the transfer didn't go smoothly and I lost a bunch of rankings in the 4 days I was offline. I just waited 2 weeks and everything went back to how it was.

Yea, continual backlinking should get you ack where you were quick smart. Google is only trying to give the user a good browsing experience, when a site is down it looks like it has been abandoned and Google will de-index it pretty quickly. Once you go live again and keep backlinking Google realizes that you did not abandon the site and you gain similar rankings again. |

Relaunch it exactly the way it was and in a few weeks, you will be right back where you were.

Once you get your hosting back or have transferred your site to a new hosting just do link building to your website in order to gain rank in SERP and maybe later on a Page Rank.

I have been away for 2 months in Africa. My hosting company godaddy removed my site because my hosting expired. I have maintained 2/3 position on google for sometime now and it took me hard work to get there. My hosting has been renewed and godaddy promised to have my site back on in 10 days. The problem now is, my site is buildt on wordpress and I can't even login to the wordpress admin panel like i used to. Can someone please help me? |
