Keywords & Tags for Wordpress

I am confused on what I should put for tags under each post on wordpress.
Let say my post is on 'dog training', should I do:

1. dog training,dog trainings,cheap dog training,cheap dog trainings etc.

OR

2. dog,training,cheap,effective

Depends on what kind of site your building. If you're doing a huge authority site with many pages and posts and want to have a tag cloud on the homepage for quick subject-based navigation, then you could employ tags to help the user find posts related to specific topics, but if it's a sniper site with only a couple posts, I'd just put your targeted keyword phrase(s) as tags.

I do have tag cloud setup on my WP site.
When you mean 'keyword phrase', i assume you meant:

1. dog training,dog trainings,cheap dog training,cheap dog trainings etc. ?

Not exactly. Choose 1 or 2 of those, whichever are your main targeted keywords, and use those, unless you are, like I said, building a big authority site.
