My seo strategy: xrumer posts xrumer profiles scrapebox comments sponsored reviews 20 anchor texts unique content over 1 year old domain Each time i do the above my sites move up a lot, then no matter how much links i add positions are "frozen" or move just +-5 places, sometimes my sites go down -100 to - 800 positions !!! Any idea what i'm doing wrong ? |

You'll find 20 different answers from 20 different SEO guys on here on what you are or aren't doing wrong. In my opinion I would steer clear of xrumer/scrapebox comments. They just aren't worth it anymore with the Panda update. I would recommend purchasing an up-to-date SEO guide (you can find several in WSO section) that'll show you step-by-step on what you should be doing SEO wise now that the Panda update is in affect. To break it down I have been finding the following are important now: -Content is king, backlinks are important but if you don't have great content for your readers then thousands of backlinks won't help you. 500 word articles aren't the norm anymore, I would move more towards the 1,000 word range (most will say it doesn't matter). -Don't keyword stuff your content articles, it doesn't fool Google anymore -Link your website inner pages to other pages on your website. -Link to authority sites in your content articles (Wikipedia is a good one) twice. If you are using Wikipedia then just search for the related subject your article is about and link to that Wikipedia page within your article. -Don't litter your website with PPC or affiliate ads -Social bookmarks are much more powerful now then thousands of xrumer or scrapbox comments on unrelated blogs. -If you like comment backlinks then only comment on RELATED niche blogs Hope this helps some! |

Look and see where your competition is getting there links from. you can use yahoo site explorer to check there back links. go through the top 20 for all your competition and see how you can get a link from those websites. that should help you get some powerful links | |
