PR Update Today

Seems Google updated the PR again today. One of my sites went from 0 to 2 in the past hour or so. Must of literally just done it as I checked it few hours back and it was at 0.

Check your sites.

Pretty strange as thats what? 3 PR updates in 4 or so months now? If that.

I'm guessing this is what their prior update was supposed to do. They updated, rolled back, then updated again. At least they didn't give themselves PR9 again.

I have a 6 month old site that went from pr0 to pr1 during the last updates - HOME PAGE ONLY.

Now my site just jumped to a pr3, on almost every inner page on the entire site, contact us, testimonials and every other inner page that has no links or anything...weird. Even posts that I just added a few weeks ago.

Actually the only pages that didn't get any pagerank are the category pages (and there's only like 3 of them), which I don't really care about anyways.

Bottom line - Me likey :-)!!

Me too man, was just taking a look through and all of my inner pages which have good content on, which is nearly every one, are also PR2 with some at PR1. Very pleased.

I was also going through some of my old backlinks on forum posts (not here obviously), and some of the threads I commented on months ago have gone to PR3 and 4 :O .

I'm liking the frequent updates though. PR is not the be-all-end-all. But it's nice to know where you stand more than once or twice a year.

The site is one I created for my doctor on Wordpress registered the domain and installed WP about a month ago. I then used my secret PR method (don't ask) and Boom! From n/a to PR5.

If you PM me I can send you the URL but you have to promise not to give out the URL to anyone...because it is my doctors site.

But why you hide the url? Didn't you strive hard to get pr5 for getting
your site popular among the net and reachable to everyone from the search engines?

No, the site is not meant for drawing visitors. My doctor has a site already and I created other sites with his name in the domain for the sole purpose of increasing PR through my method and giving him killer backlinks.

The site links to my doctor's site where I actually give him a review about how he treated me which links to my Yelp account and facebook. I want to maintain my privacy.

Is there away I can prove my n/a to PR5 jump in 1 month without giving away the URL?

I wouldn't mind giving it out to a reputable member which then he/she can come back and verify my claims to you all. If it is a very reputable member I won't mind giving the username and password to the site.

Yes. Popular amongst people looking for a doctor, not Warrior Forum members. If you're really surprised someone isn't going to give out their URL, you must be new here.

I noticed you are an SEO provider in your user title. I really don't want my backlinks spammed with all your stuff.

There is absolutely no reason you have to justify your pagerank to anyone here unless your going to do a wso on getting PR fast. And don't go giving your login info to people,there are a lot of crazy bastards on this forum, keep it to yourself and enjoy the ride ;-)

It's absolutely useless conversation. You are not going to give the url
but still your claim. Actualy I don't even need or want to know how you
achieved such that pr. What made me curious was that you probably
has used your url for your daily seo and getting backlinks from other sites
which are the sites known to a lot of seo experts but still you don't give us
the url. Seems strange to me.

Congratulations on achieving such a high PR in such a short time. Would you share your backlinking strategy? Is it article marketing, blog comments, forum profile blasts?

Would help a lot to community in general.

Thank you on the congratulations! Two things in this world make me happy Valentino handbags and Google PR (no idea why).

Because of all the interest and the massive amount of PM's I have just started writing a STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE to going from a brand new PR n/a domain to a PR5. It will show you exactly what to do.

P.S. In my method you don't pay a dime for any backlinks, all manual and takes no more than 1 day.

To get a high PR you need some mean links usually if you could just let me know (PM me if you wish) what types of links you have used I will appreciate it a lot. You do not have to give away all your trade secrets, it a simple question really, but It would help a lot struggling warriors like myself.

10, 3 of the articles now have PR3, the internal pages these link to are PR1.

Hard to say as the articles were aimed at internal pages, but the main domain has jumped PR0 to PR2 after the update.

Mainze, I can assure you the pages that increased in PR had absolutely nothing to do with the links from Ezine Articles. Some of the pages on my sites have increased in PR without any backlinks. The reason for this is because the juice is flowing internally.

EDIT: Just read your post about the articles having PR. Have you backlinked these article? If you haven't then in all liklihood there are internal links from Ezines that have PR which boosted the PR of the articles.

It is either that or Google is playing tricks with us

Chukcha, PR isn't all that important with regard to SERP ranking. It really only plays a role if you are selling links. But it seems as though PR is important to you?

The only way to increase PR is to get high quality backlinks. If you can secure high PR links from pages that have low OBL's then that juice will flow to the relevent page and the PR of that page will increase.

Links from article directories are usually PR n/a, as a result these links will not help to increase your PR.

I'm noticing that some inner pages actually have a higher PR than the domain. Wonder what Google is up to.
