Who to use for site and SEO/PPC management?

Anyone familiar with Webimax? we are looking for a company in the next month or two to build our website and do all the SEO, with PPC management for the first six months or so. We dont know who is good or bad and in the past used a great company that is no longer around and also used a bad company that is still around....so, Im sure you can see my confusion. Any input on who is good? Im desperate at this point to set my budgets for this end of the business....we will have an e-commerce site selling two key products and also about 20 parts for these products. Its a product for a large niche thats seems to be moderately competitive.

We need someone to do the copy and sales copy within the site....we can do some and/or guide with what we know....mainly looking for someone who can get thier head inside of this business and get it dialed in to work....We would like to dominate this market or at least be very agressive.

Recommendations:

Don't let an SEO person write your copy. They don't usually know how to sell. A good copywriter will cost but will pay for himself with higher conversion rates. There's a skill to selling.

Don't let a web designer write your copy for the same reason.

Don't let an SEO person do your PPC. I have yet to see one that can do both well or understand both well. That's why I only do PPC. If the SEO guy says, never done it but it's similar, I can do it, run. Of course, if you find a company where each is done by a different person, that's OK.

So you need four different people. The copywriter, who you'll hire first. The web designer will take that and build/code the site. Then the SEO and PPC people. If you find a company that can do it all, so much the better but those are rare that can do it all and do it all well. So hire specialists, even if you have to hire four different people. More work, costs more but worth it in long run.
