Will this adsense account get banned?

Hi all,

Just a quick question regarding adsense account banned. My friend opened a new site and new adsense account. However he told me that we was earning roughly $15-20 a day and I asked him how.... he did not do any SEO or anything, traffics are direct traffics from his friends and family using different PC. Clicking on the adsense ads whenever they visit the site.

He showed me his first 3 days CTR. First day was 50%+ 2nd day was 100%+ and 3rd day is 50%+ and I told him to stop otherwise google will definitely ban him. So on his 4th day and so on everything remains normal... no invalid clicks or so... will this account be banned somehow someday? Or there are chances that google will overlook this?

That account is already history! Some people think Google are really dumb for some reason or the other. Google invest millions in their technology to ensure the advertiser is protected. No one can get away by telling friends and family to visit their site and click the ads.

To trick Google you really have to devise a method that is untraceable. I'm sure there are a few geeks who have already come up with a workable system, but you friends method is suicide.

He will be getting the dreaded "your account has been disabled for invalid click activity" email very soon.

You have be pretty dumb to think A BILLION dollar company such as Google does not think people would try this. Adsense has been around for how long now? And how many people you think have tried what your friend is doing? If he isn't banned, he will be eventually.. And maybe even locked up! lol.

Yea, its gone.

If google can find clickjacking scripts that operate in iframes and rotating proxies, with the ctr diluted down by cheap traffic.....

they're going to find out about the 100% ctr blog you have.

It will be banned and should be. He's stealing from the advertisers and that's why google is so tough on the rest of us.

Yes, it is only a matter of time.

I know because it happened to me. I got approved on July 8th 2003 and on July 25th 2003 got the email.

SUBJECT: [#1234567] Fraudulent Clicks

BODY STARTED: "It has come to our attention that fraudulent clicks have been generated on the ads on your site, and we are investigating the situation."

Fortunately for me, I had nothing to do with the issue and told them so.

Apparently Google was able to confirm that I was telling the truth because my account was not canceled and I got paid that month and every month since.

I am sure that it is very easy for Google to see that the clicks are coming from the same IP addresses, so expect the email very soon.

I would venture to say that at this point, even if you get the clicks stopped Google will still ban you.

Sorry for the bad news.

If everything is normal there is no reason why Google banned this account however still the adsense has the authority to decide if your account will become safe, we cannot overpower Google.
