Default New Age Backlinking vs Old School Backlinking

For fast long term results which do you think is better. New age backlinking or old school backlinking. By new school I mean using software to do all the work for you. Old school is using manuel hard work to get your backlinks.

Automated linking is looking more and me like old school to me, I would love to see a brave new world with no spam.

If search engines continue to improve in gauging the relevance of connections, links from random sites and flatter spam comments unrelated to the subject matter may continue to drop in value.

I'm sure there are plenty of successful auto blog, auto promotion operators still out there, but I have also heard big names in the business confess to a former life of dark hat practices, in his previous life one was able to generate 1000 sites in one day.

I agree I noticed that a lot of spammers are starting to revert back to white hat! I think google's update will help us traditional IM gain an advantage. If you know how to rank without software you cant be stopped!

Good backlinks are crucial if you want to get high search engine rankingsPrior to now.The web page rank of web site was decided by what number of backlinks it had. Nonetheless, these days the trend has changed because of the fact that most individuals took benefit of this technique and made up dummy sites in order that they could send backlinks to their sites. If you ‘re a website proprietor in this age, then how do you determine what is a backlink that will enhance your web site and what ‘s one that could lower your web page rank?

Senuke x ver 2.0, Xrumor 7, AMR, Bookmarking demon, and Scrapebox are the top used auto backlinking software out now. I have used all but xrumor and they work fast for a big boost but they will drop pretty quick if the moderator starts to clear out your links for spam.

Automated link building is common place these days. With very competive niches such as car insurance you will have quite a fight going against large sites with very large budgets. A lot of big companies buy their links to help their SEO. Manual link building may work for a small site but with many sites or limited time it is always best outsource that work and create a good link building plan while keep it automated.

I was doing automated submissions via a desktop software program back in the late 90's, so I'm thinking "new school" isn't all that new.

Automated software? Your site will be penalized by Google. Manual link building is the best.

Give Google 6 weeks and they will have enough computing power to see what IPs are making links. If the same IP that built a site links to it in an 'unsavory' manner, (a blog comment is allowed), we will start to see de-indexing, etc. At least that is the scuttlebutt.

Using both of them, manual and automated SEO are good choices I think..

Been using them both and I found no problem, even after panda update.

If new backlinking techniques mean using automated tools for building link, then I am happy that I an an old school student.
You must try to build your backlinks, it is more legit and safe.
Whereas automated backlinks are concerned, you will get tons of backlinks in very short period and it may create a suspicion for search engines. You may, even, get penalized for this.
