My site is 2 weeks old and was on the 3rd page of google after the initial on-page optimization and some backlinking, now all of a sudden I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone encountered the same problem? What could possibly be the reason for this. I can't be sandboxed because the site has only 37 backlinks. Please advise.

This is normal. New sites frequently show up on the first few pages and then after a few days they drop way down. Now you have to keep working on it.

Yep, definitely normal. It usually takes months before rankings stabilize, and even then you have to be prepared for some bouncing every now and then. Just keep building links or work on another site.

Yes this is usually regarded as the Sandbox Effect. New websites usually have to go through a period of time to become established with Google. It is very disappionting as you have found because you think you have struck gold as your new website jumps straight on to the 1st page of Google - however this is false and as you have found your website suddenly vanishes. The only way forward is to give it time and you will find that it will appear - maybe in around the hundreds but continue to work on links etc and it will then steadily climb the rankings and achieve 1st page rankings again. |

The google dance will last for 2-7 days before stabilizing. In the mean time keep a consistent flow of backlinks and content then it will come back stronger. | |

Your website has no links as it should be so increase your links to get back on ranking.
