Yes, It's beneficial because it will increase audience base and user engagement to your site but it have nothing to do with SEO |

As ashokseo stated: it will increase the audience base. Make sure you seperate your site from a localised SEO point of view and optimise accordingly using the webmaster tools geographical targetting options for subdomains/folders if you are attempting to reach audiences in multiple countries based on their respective language. |
