Yes, It's beneficial because it will increase audience base and user engagement to your site but it have nothing to do with SEO

As ashokseo stated: it will increase the audience base.
Make sure you seperate your site from a localised SEO point of view and optimise accordingly using the webmaster tools geographical targetting options for subdomains/folders if you are attempting to reach audiences in multiple countries based on their respective language.

So you're saying that in terms of increasing ranks, website in different language will not help you?

If your site is US based, you should build links in US and UK sites only?

If you meant Google Translate by any chance, then no, I don't recommend it for full website translations.
