|  How to advertise a local news portal
Hello guys. I am wondering how one would advertise a local news portal for a small town. I will use SEO, but if anyone has experience on what other types of advertising might bring good visits, it would be helpful. Is it worth to advertise with AdWords, PPV or PPC on some authority websites? |

Use Facebook ads and target to people within your news catchment area. Very targeted way to get people to your site without wasting money.

You will want to focus on geo-targeting whatever advertising you do. You want to make sure that people in the area that this news site covers are the ones seeing your ads.
