I am confused with the term PR juice. What is Pr juice and is there any difference between Pr juice and Link juice? If Yes, what is it. Also, how this pr juice flow.

I will be grateful to you.

Hi Jessyjen,

I suppose it all depends on the context in which that term was used. Link juice usually implies three values that are passed, PageRank, Trust, and Relevance. I suppose if someone uses the term "PR juice" they may be referring to just the PageRank and not Trust or Relevance. You should ask the person that used that term exactly what they meant.

I've always looked at the two terms as one in the same. When you place a link on a site which has other links, you're sharing both the "PR" and "link" juice with the other links.

I guess technically the exception is on pages that don't have PR, since there's no "PR juice" to share.

My head hurts.

All the same thing. Link juice refers to the PageRank or "PR" juice that is passed along from the domain.

Really?

What about Trust and Relevance, aren't they also passed as link juice along with PR? I always thought Link Juice included all three of those values. Perhaps, if you never heard of Trust and Relevance you wouldn't know to include them in Link Juice.

PR juice is the amount of authority another website transfers to yours when it links to you. Let's say a website has a PR of 5 and you have a backlink there. If there are no other links in that page you will get a percentage (often is assumed 85%) of its authority. As there are always other links it doesn't happen. If for example there are 49 other links to other websites on that page, the total of outbound links in that page will be 50. Your juice will be its authority divided by 50. This is simplified answer to a large degree. Other elements such as relevance, anchor text, place of your link in the page, dofollow or nofollow, etc. affect the amount of PR juice you get.

I will be grateful to you.

For me both terms carry the same meaning. While I refer PR juice or link juice, it just means the portion of power (PR or trust) transferring to the linked page from the link page.
