Default Different search term = different page title?

Hey guys, hope all is well!

I'm having a little issue with my search terms. When i search "term 1", instead of showing my title tag, it shows "term 1" on google. same goes for a couple of other terms. I'm not complaining as it seems to be bringing me more traffic.. but its pretty strange. Anyone else experience this before?

Sometimes Google will choose to put whatever it wants in the meta description. I don't know that I've ever seen this happen with the title tag though. Very interesting.

Are you sure you mean title & not description?
If the searched for keyword is not in the description, it could pull it elsewhere.
