Hi. I have searched this forum and haven't found an answer to this anomaly I found. Competitors site Ranking #3 for a keyword which: Google adwords shows global monthly searches 1,830,000, US monthly 823,000 semrush free version does not show this kw in this sites profile Ranking #3 for a keyword which: Google adwords shows global monthly searches 27,000, US monthly 18,000 semrush shows volume of 91 of corresponding local searches of this kw Semrush graph also shows Google SE traffic 296 for this site. These stats do not make any sense, it's a PR3 website, Semrush graph shows history until the beginning of the year. Being relevant and on a 3rd place for a kw which according to google adwords has almost 2 million searches, semrush claims on it's graph that it gets 300 people from Google. If I check some other random kw-s Semrush estimate for local US and adwords for local US are totally different numbers, like 10 times different or so. Can anyone explain it to me please ?

Perhaps Semrush default is using EXACT keywords verses Google's default shows BROAD. Switch Google's search from Exact to Broad and see what happens.

Thanks. Google-s exact and phrase searches make a lot more sense. While broad is under 2 million, phrase is under a thousand. Thanks again |
