I uploaded the pdf/zip file again.

Looks like Mediafire is hosting files for a shorter amount of time, not long ago they would host a file for a full year.

Anyways, the pdf is just a quick on-page tip, hope it helps.

Update : I am still stuck on position 12 for low competition keyword and moved up 4 places to 128 for very competitive keyword. Is still early days because I did made the changed 2 days ago.

I made changes to another website for a competitive keyword which is sitting on position 40.

Pretty Cool - nice to see that this was the 'only' factor - I've often wondered if my on-page tweaks have had an effect but it's so hard to tell considering the backlinks I'm constantly doing etc...

Thanks for this information. I just implemented this on one of my sites that has the homepage and an internal page stuck at bottom of page 1 for their main keywords for a while now. Let's see if things move up in a few days.

Hey guys please report back if this worked for you or not. I implemented this yesterday on a site which has the homepage and 1 internal page stuck between positions #5-#8 even though it's getting a ton of backlinks. So far nothing has changed, but then again the G bot as not come around since the changes when looking at my cached page. Have to wait until a new cached page is up and see if it moved any positions or not.

I have a client's site that is sitting at 12th for the keyword we want to rank 1 for and she has a lot of pictures that I can try this on, but I'm curious what is the best way to change the image names in wordpress? Do you use wordpress? If so is there a plugin you recommend to change the image file names?

Well I got a new cache page that is updated, but my site did not move one spot at all, but in fact dropped a spot. I would have thought it would at least move a few spots up with all the recent contextual high PR backlinks it got and plus implementing this. But it seems it didn't work for me at least. Wonder if I did anything wrong?

Anyone else see any jump in their sites with doing this method?
