Default Has adsense lose it's income potential?

I have placed adsense on several of my sites and the ads placements are verybeen said to have high CTR (2 300x250 ads side by side before content). However, I don't get any clicks from it. Is adsense loosing their income generating potential or am I missing something here?

I had a record in May, June, and July. August is going to be
another one.

It's all about tweaking colors, placement, targeted visitors,
and targeted ads.

Search the forum for tips.

Google just had record profits themselves. I'd say that alone
says a lot about the potential about adsense.

Adsense does not sell itself. You have got to spend time tweaking
your site.

I also think too many people jump into adsense as an income
replacer instead of an income enhancer.

It's not a get rich quick scheme.

The potential? Huge as always.

The 3 biggest tips I'll give is to tweak your content for ads and
get targeted visitors from places other than google search. The
3rd one is to provide 75% of the info people want, but you have to
leave them wanting a little more... I gotta bunch of tips, but they came
from logic, research, and testing. Think about what YOU can do to
get someone to click. What would make me click?

Adsense color and placement is very important. If you can put your adsense between the title and your content, it can be a very good place to generate clicks. Lastly, if your blog has a high traffic in commenting, put another block of adsense between the end of content and your comment is also another good spot.

AdSense is still one of the best way of making money online and you need to know that it takes time and efforts to earn a decent money.

First, you have to promote your site/blog so that you have at least 1000 visitors a day. I think 1000 is good enough to get somewhere between $5-50 a day. Getting visitors is prime importance and you need to have good content.

The problem with most bloggers/webmaster today is that they are not MARKETERS. You need to market your product (in this case blog/website) very effectively. If you need more help on how to promote your site you may check out my blog given at my profile page.
