It certainly a great new way to index pages (that haven't been index yet) faster and easy. However, i think we should always aspire for natural indexing and that could only achieve by proper linking profile and constant update of our content.

Interesting - you can hear the cogs turning over in the collective SEO mind: "how can we game this?" I've found that pinging works fine when used in moderation - if you ping a site ONLY when you actually have fresh content the Googlebot always comes running when you call. Spammy pinging is the best way to quickly get ignored, conversely. |
