I outsource my articles to a gost writer, but after taking stock of the articles it looks like an articles peaks from the internet. My question now is how do I now if the articles have been published before? I would like to know this before making use of this articles. Just to determine the uniqueness of the articles. Thanks. |

Just take the first paragraph (or few sentences) from your article, put it into Google and take a search. If you get zero results, that means your article is 100% unique. If you have the copy+pasted text listed on some sites, when you are taking a Google search, then you have a problem. You can also use Copyscape to check the uniqueness of your articles. |

i guess i'm a little different in this one - i take articles i have outsourced re-write them in my own words/style. That way i know 1) it's MY article and 2) its being heard in my 'voice'

I agree with all above responses apart form that you can also try 3rd party tools available online like copyscape, vSwiper etc, these tools helps you in identifying if articles unique or not.

Simply download plagiarism checker from Google. Open another window with your article. copy it and past it on the plagiarism checker and check whether your article has been published elsewhere. The checker will give you the result. You can as well use the copy scape to check the same. Usually you will be told a big OK and no plagiarism found. I hope you get helped.

| Let me first thanks you all, you people are great! Base on the advices given, I got so many related phrases or paragraphs some as high as 404 words out of about 1020 while some are below. My thinking is, this writer just picks some articles and change some sentences and sent to me. Is this type of practice allowed in online article marketing. |

Sometimes just using Google does not detect published articles because Google also de-indexes some sites. I use Copyscape to be sure. Premium credits don't cost that much for the peace of mind. |
