I found a keyword that has 1900 exact monthly searches, EMD is available, SOC is low (<50), exact phrase count is 252,000 and MOB is 6. Can I rank in the top 5 for this keyword?

The answer is most likely yes you can with enough links. Although I would highly recommend switching to market samurai. It really isn't about the competition from 11 to 1000. It is all about who is already on the first page.

| Niche Market finder and Traffic Travis are free and they can provide that information as well.

If you have nice on-page SEO content and enough backlinks to beat top 10, sure you could. It would take time to rank slowly. Don't get into Google Dance/Sandbox if you are too aggressively building your links.
