Most forums that I have signed up for, google will not crawl those links because you have to be a member to view profiles. I have been wasting my time on forums where google can't crawl those links. Is there a way to search forums that will allow non members to see profile links??

Forum links or forum profile are useful in promoting a website. It can help your website rank great in Google and other search engines. You can put your link under your signature so that viewers or forum members can see your profile publicly which mean that everyone have a chance to see your forum profile and also Google ofcourse. Try to do a profile link wheel buddy, its very powerful method to increase traffic and better ranking in search engines. Good luck |

You should consider if they have nofollow or dofollow signature. (some believe Google doesn't consider nofollow anymore but most believe it is not the case.) To check if the forum is nofollow or not depending on your browser download and install the proper plugin. Forget about nofollow forums. Contribute to the forums that have dofollow signatures, relevant content to your website and high PR. Obviously have the right anchor text for your forum signature first. To find forums you can do one of the following - search X forum --> X is what you are looking for - Check one of the forum directories. The best one I know is big-boards.com To check the PR use one of the PR checkers. The best ones I know are prchecker.info and checkpagerank.net. There are many others around as well. |

Some big forums like warrior and others you can search these forums on google or when you search something and you get forum post in return so you can post also on that forum.

What I usually do are search for threads titled "Forums can leave backlink in signature" and manually check, I recommend manually check, though it might take you some time, but it's worth.

| Thank you for the only actual answer to my question. It seems to take a lot of time and work. I mean, most do let you leave link in sig but you cannot access(as well as google) that member profile unless you are a member. So, google will never follow that link

Post your links in do-follow Forums so only your links are indexed in Google.

Hi SPC, that's a good question really, here's what I suggest from playing with search results. Go to any user's profile at Warrior Forum, and see which fields are available for those who can view the profile, e.g. "last activity", "current activity", "send message". Then Google for these queries ("last activity" +"current activity" +"send message"), selecting Discussions - Forums and the timeline to get relevant results. You'll get a list of forums with profiles that can be viewed without login. Pick out thematically relevant ones. Also try other queries out - get your ideas from other forums where you can view profiles. |

| What I want to tell you is there are lots of forums don't need membership to access profile and signature. After you try, you'll know that it's not that hard.

I’ve had mixed results with forum sigs to as far a getting backlinks. I prefer spending my time writing & submitting articles. I think blog commenting is better than forum signatures too for backlinks. But you know, forums signatures can be useful besides just creating a backlink. If you find a good active forum related to your niche and actively participate in that forum then you’ve got the potential to drive interested targeted traffic to your site via your signature link. Plus you get a lot of good ideas for questions/topics your target audience are interested in. |

Good question actually. There is no method available except to find a forum based on free themes vbulltin.. you need research the forum intially with out login, go and check out other used signature presence. and chech that forums cache status for each and every category that you are going to participate, it will shows that forums quality. don't rely a forum which is having lot of discussion. may be there is a spammy discussion available. |
