4 Million global monthly searches and 5 letter Domain Name??

Actually, I am into article marketing... Just I checked a domain name of 5 letters and around 4 million people searching it globally per month. I checked it and that domain name is available.

I am not into this game of domain... I just wanna know, can I do something with this?? Any idea ? Or I should just avoid it.. it's a normal thing?

the domain is like .. arts, sketches, designs, paintings .... I mean this kind of domain..... What you say???

As I learned when I lived in India for a while, Americans don't know the meaning of the term 'lac' while Indians (and some others) use the term 'lac' to mean 100,000.

It depends if people are searching for it to buy something or just looking for information.

I agree... that domain is kind of like .. "paintings".... and on five letters so? what should I do ? leave it ? It's waste of time or I can do something with it?

At 4,000,000/month, I'd grab it up. It doesn't really matter that much if they're looking for information or to buy. Capturing even 1% of that would earn you a couple hundred dollars a month in adsense alone, unless the keyword is really that bad.

Remember to tick "Exact" in the Google Keyword Tool, I highly doubt the term really had 4mio searches a month.

If it has anywhere close to that, I would grab it. Now. Like really.. Right now.

Highly unlikely, but you could build a pretty nice site around it and do well. Don't think you're going to get a ton of traffic right away. It'll still take a good amount of time and standard SEO practices.

Alternatively, you could prolly flip it for a few grand if, again, it's a legitimately solid keyword.

How many grands?? I don't have any idea... it's exact search giving 4 million. I only know this.

If you can get the domain to rank with that many searches, it is great. There is probably quite a lot work if there is that many searches, as 4 million searches/month doesn't go by without people noticing it.

Right now keyword matching domains are great, but I think it will become less and less important during the next 1-2 years.. So it is all about building the site as soon as possible.

But remember: Just because you own Paint.com (or something) doesn't mean you will rank #1-3 in Google asap.. But the domain will most likely be worth something.

Seriously, I don't know that much about IM, but I do know this:

If what you say is true, and the domain name is getting that many hits a month, you're seriously passing up solid income if you don't get it. NO ONE that is serious about making money online would pass that up. Even if it's not your niche of choice & even if you prefer article writing over building a website, you can make money off that. Set up a blog site, post some articles, monetize it with good products and leave it alone. If it really is getting that many hits a month you'll make money. And would you really turn down a few hundred a month because it's not a few million?? Making money is like going up a flight of stairs. You have to step on the first one before you can get to the 10th one, and you step on the 10th one before you can get to the 15th. Why turn down any money you can make virtually on autopilot even if it does require you to do something that isn't your job of choice? This seems like a "no-brainer" if it's legit.

If it's a trademarked term, zero (there are exceptions). If it's a term that is searched by people wanting to buy something, it could be valuable. Can't be more specific than that with the information given.

I hope it's a term but I am not sure whether people want to buy. Let's say if I search paint or sketch .. They what maximum can be done by my search?
