question for all blogger.com user just want to know if this is possible with blogspot

i needed to upload some files and document to my blogger server and i really do not know how to do it that is the reason am here to seek for direction.

also i just want to know if it is possible to upload files on blogger blog sever. if so how can i do it. please your contribution is highly needed here i have tried all i could do for the past six days spend hours to make sure am able to upload file i still can not get it.

so if there is any blogger user that have uploaded files to blogger pls let me know how it is been done.

You are not able to upload files or docs to your blogger server. For blogger, they only allow you to upload images. They don't have an ftp access for you either. Best is you go and google for a file uploader site and they help you to host ur file temporarily and provide you a download link =D

This is how you host files for blogger (for free).

1) Create a Google Sites blog.

2) Upload your file to Google Sites (.zip, etc...).

3) Copy the files URL that is hosted on Google Sites.

4) Go to Blogger & paste the URL on your blog template, or blog post.

All your doing is hotlinking your file that is hosted on Google Sites. On Google Sites that blog has to be set to public, so anyone can download the file.

The end user will click on your hyperlink on Blogger. When they click the hyperlink they will get a popup prompt to download the file directly from Google Sites.

The Blogger traffic will never know the file is hosted on another site, all they see is the download prompt.

You can't upload other files except for images in Blogger (picasaweb).
