Hi all. Newbie here. I'm doing keyword research and I was wondering if a new website can beat competition that have domain ages 4 and below?

Yes they can, I do it all the time. You have to structure your site correctly and have great content. That's the foundation you need.

Absolutely yes, its no wonder a new site beating aged site, but it all depends on the content you place.

Domain age doesn't matter that much. It's more the quality of the pages. You can knock out most medium quality/PR pages inside of two months if you play your cards right.

Absolutely. I do it also. It's the backlinks and SEO ... age only plays a small factor in ranking.

Yah, age do play some role here. It shows the maturity of the site. However, people always say 'content is king' so stick with that.

66% of ranking is based on links. Only about 6% or less on the age of the site. You can definitely beat them out, if you do it right . I know a few people who can hit #1 inside of three weeks because of how they build their sites. Just make sure your links are good and your content is excellent.
